The charity golf tournament in Nuremberg
Passion meets responsibility
Table of contents
Passion projects are initiatives that arise from the personal commitment of our employees and show how individual passion can foster social responsibility. They emerge where people connect their private interests with a social purpose and achieve lasting impact.
One of these projects led us to the Cnopf'sche Children's Hospital in Nuremberg. Through Norbert's commitment and his participation in the annual charity golf tournament, we became aware of this valuable initiative. The tournament raises funds for the child-friendly design of the outpatient surgical environment—creating a place where young patients can recharge in a familiar atmosphere before and after an operation, together with their parents.
With our donation of 1,000 euros, we are helping to ensure that a medical necessity becomes an environment in which children feel safe and understood even in difficult situations. The tournament itself is far more than just a fundraising campaign. Under radiant sunshine, around 80 participants from the region came together—golf enthusiasts who put their passion to work for a good cause. The supporting program, featuring children's activities, a magician, introductory golf, and a raffle, made it clear that people come together here who understand: Community arises where everyone contributes according to their means.
Last year alone, around 20,000 euros in donations were collected. For us as a company, this support means more than just financial aid. It shows that social responsibility is most authentic when it is carried by the people who are part of our team. The charity golf tournament for the Cnopf'sche Children's Hospital is a perfect example of how local engagement creates tangible improvements. Every euro flows directly into shaping an environment that gives sick children and their families a sense of security during an already difficult time. It shows us that sustainability is not limited to the ecological sphere, but becomes relevant wherever we create long-term positive changes in our society.
